Her performance at the Kennedy Center Honors has been famous for all the wrong reasons. She messed up with the lyrics and broke down and ran off the stage while performing her idol Dolly Parton’s classic hit “9 to 5,”

“Dolly you make me so nervous. I can’t even sing the words right,” the singer said during the show.

Dolly Parton, showing outstanding courtliness, told People that Simpson is “so talented” and “someday they’ll be paying tribute to her.”

Apparently she re-recorded the song, but now wants that version edited out of the broadcast, which is set to air December 26, St Stephen’s Day, on CBS.

Jessica Simpson certainly seems to have either become jobless or tooooo friendly towards Dolly Parton! The ‘My boobs can’t fit into one bra’ babe has recently promised the country legend to perform at her Dollywood theme park in Tennessee. Well guys, I’ve heard of Hollywood (who hasn’t?!?!?)… I’ve also heard of Bollywood (the Indian Film industry) but what in the name of Christ is DOLLYWOOD??? And whoa! An entire theme park based on it!!!

While Jessica baby has gone berserk with her commitments, Dolly can’t stop with her shower of praises for her… “Too many people overlook my young pal’s talent. All they see is this great-looking blonde girl, but she’s got a great voice - and the heartache and pain to throw into songs.” Says the 9-5 singer!

Just another simple example of ‘You scratch my back and I scratch yours’!!!

If silence could speak a thousand words then one can say that right now Jessica Simpson is the most talkative gal in town!Jessica who had a full schedule of appearances lined up to promote her new album, A Public Affair, has lost her voice!

A doctor warned the 26-year-old songstress to not use it or else face losing it, saying that Simpson should refrain from talking while she gives her pipes time to rest. Under doctor’s orders, Simpson was forced to cancel dates on Today, Total Request Live and The Late Show with David Letterman. Instead, the In This Skin singer flew to New York a day earlier than planned and met with a voice specialist. “She’s on total vocal rest and some of her appearances have been delayed,” Simpson’s rep, Rob Shuter, confirmed. A friend said that Simpson, who’s been communicating with people via notepad and pen, was feeling physically okay but was bummed about the bad timing.

Earlier it seemed that Nick Lachey will remain as Mr. Jessica Simpson forever. But after the dramatic split from Jessica the pop star is now creating records with his music.

Lachey’s second solo record “What’s Left Of Me” was released this May and it stood in the second place spot on the Billboard charts. It is a much better record of Nick compared to his 2003 release ‘SoulO’ which ranked #51 on the charts.

His first single and title track is an obvious ode to Jessica. The video for the song depicts a heartbroken Nick saying goodbye to his video love.

Actually most part of the album presents his personal experiences over the last year. His next single “I Can’t Hate You Anymore” also seems to follow the same trend. It’s set to hit radio on July 24.

Nick Lachey is planning to head out on his first solo tour this fall.

Nick Lachey got pretty good commercial success with his new album ‘What’s Left of Me’. Lachey has used some of the tunes to explain his feelings about divorcing former wife Jessica Simpson.

If the question is ‘is it wrong to do that?’ the answer is ‘No’. The artists have been using the tunes expressing the pain and grief to deliver great music and connect it with their fans.

Lachey says he has no regrets using the dissolution of his marriage for his album. When Nick was asked about the personal nature of “What’s Left of Me”, more specifically about the song “I Can’t Hate You Anymore”, he said, “I went into this album promising myself I’d make an honest record and that’s what I tried to do. For me it’s just about trying to be honest to myself and be honest with my music.”

The album is ranked No. 2 on the Billboard Album Chart. It is now sold more than 500,000 units. The good news for Lachey’s fans is his first-ever solo concert tour begins in the Fall.
