Luke Wilson has joined Jessica Simpson in Blonde Ambition, a loose remake of the 1988 Melanie Griffith classic Working Girl.

“It’s going to be Jessica Simpson’s next film,” said producer (and former “Malcolm in the Middle” star) Justin Berfield. “It’s basically about a young woman’s journey into the corporate empire. She starts at the bottom and works her way to the top.”

Andy Dick is in discussions to play an “evil” secretary.

Blonde Ambition begins filming November 27 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is aiming for a summer release.

After bulding castles in the air on how she is gonna make and star in a movie with x, y and z ..guess Jessica got a taste of her own medicine when she auditioned twice for a role but was rejected .According to Jessica it was……………………. so embarassing !

Now before we get to what and how I must make it a point to mention that the movie in question is the highly controversial and always in news …………..DALLAS .Does it ring a bell ………..remeber the whole J.LO pregnancy rumours……….the who’s in…who’s out controversy……REMEMBER.! So it all goes that as Jessica had auditoined for two roles in the remake of the TV classic ‘Dallas’ .

• She first auditioned for the role of Lucy Ewing but failed to impress .
• She then was called back to auditon for the role of Pam and within a few days got a call saying that she was not their Pam!

On the rejection Jessica said : She says she auditioned for the part of Lucy but “couldn’t really pull it off… They wanted me to come back for Pam (Ewing). They saw me as something more mature, and as a woman. I really thought I nailed it and had a chemistry with Luke Wilson, who was playing Bobby. All of a sudden I get a call: not Pam. Everyone was saying I was going to be in Dallas, and I didn’t get the part. I did not get it. How embarrassing is that?”

OUCH! That must have hurt …………it’s the first time I heard some good news about that movie Jessica it’s better you just stick to singing ……..and about that movie I really wonder what’s really happening ……….I mean after all these controversies I hope it’s all really worth it

Jessica Simpson seems to be really excited about her role in the upcoming movie “Employee of The Month”.

Revealing about what the movie is about she says, “In the film there’s a rumor going around that Amy, the girl I play in the movie, only dates her store’s Employee of the Month. So the whole plot is about these two guys, Dane Cook and Dax Shepard, who have worked at the store for 10 years and basically, throughout the whole movie, they try to win my heart by becoming the next Employee of the Month.”

Jesseca is really very much excited about her role in the movie. She says, “The first time I read the script I fell in love with it. I read about 15 pages of it. I just said, I’m in, this is what I want to do”

“I wanted to be a part of an ensemble cast again, like I was for ‘Dukes’. That way I didn’t have the pressure of the whole movie on my shoulders. Plus it’s a good way to learn; it’s like an acting class every day. I get to work with really amazing, talented people and we just laugh the whole time”, she adds.

Nick Lachey is now lookinf for better dating options after divorcing Jessica Simpson. There are still hopes for some that he and Jessica may reunite. There were always rumors about phone calls and secret meetings.

As their divorce is finalized in the court Nick says, “It’s over. I am okay with that. Now I’m doing well.

“It’s a process everyone has to go through. This week was the final step in the process”, he adds.

Jessica seems working hard but still enjoying the acting in the upcoming comedy “Employee of the Month”.

Jessica commenting on her working says, “I really don’t think that I could ask for a better situation, especially when you have to stay up all night long. We have to start at evening and have to stay till next morning. We shoot all through the night.”

Jesseca is not feeling tired because she has good comedians acting along with her. She says, “It’s nice to have comedians who keep you on your toes and keep you laughing till you pee your pants.”

Crediting the movie as ‘complete entertainer she says, “I think people are really going to enjoy this movie, because it’s one of those films that you can just go to the theater, eat your popcorn and know you’re going to be laughing the whole time. It’s from the producers of “Wedding Crashers,” and I remember going to see that movie and just laughing uncontrollably. I think that with all the personalities in this movie the same thing repeats.”

Actress Katie Cassidy has apparently beaten out singer Jessica Simpson for the coveted Lucy Ewing role in the upcoming “Dallas” movie, the re-make of the much-loved 80s drama.

According to TMZ, the daughter of 70s heartthrob and Vegas showman David Cassidy has bagged the role in director Gurinder Chadha’s film, which also had Simpson’s and Kristin Cavallari’s names in the pipeline.Cassidy, who appears in “Click,” has appeared on the cancelled/resurrected television show “7th Heaven,” and has been in Vancouver shooting the film “Black Christmas”.
