Jessica Simpson is turning her new home into a antiques palace after getting turned on to classic furniture by Sharon Osbourne.
Jessica and her mother are decorating the Los Angeles home and Simpson is determined to fill it with antiques.

She says, “I wanted antiques that have meaning. I was speaking with Sharon Osbourne and she was saying how great it was to sit around an antique table and think about everybody that had sat there.”

Well…doesn’t seem a nice idea to me…whats the point when you dont know who had sat there…just a doubt!

JESSICA SIMPSON discovered her love for photography while holidaying with little sister ASHLEE in London.

Jessica admits she donned a wig to escape the paparazzi and spent hours every day, while her sister was preparing for performances in West End musical CHICAGO, perfecting her new hobby.

She says, “I took pictures of the sky and landscapes. I’m very into photography at the moment.”

Looks like Jessica finally got time to discover her skills after getting rid of Nick Lachey.

After a painful divorce from Nick Lachey, Simpson is afraid she will never date again after her

celebrity status.

“My fear is that I won’t ever date anybody, because they’ll think I’m going to ruin their career. That they’ll be on the cover of every tabloid and it will automatically take away their credibility, to be bluntly honest with you,” a source quoted the ‘Dukes of The Hazzard’ actress, as saying.

So these days Jessica Simpson is glued to her laptop where ever she is. She seems to have been caught up by the freedom and anonymity internet dating provides. A source close to her revealed,

“Jessica loves the idea she can use the internet to look for a man who’s interested in her personality. She pretends to be this shy Texan girl.”

We hope she finds a good-guy over the net. But I wonder what is she planning to do when the guy actually comes to know about her celebrity status later on. I think it would all end in a similar way.

jessica Simpson recently revealed reason for her divorce with Nick Lachey. She said it was a precise event that made them both part ways.

Simpson realized that her marriage was over when Nick Lachey opted out of accompanying her to Africa on a charity trip in October 2005.

“I went there on our three-year wedding anniversary. He stayed home,” she said.

Simpson was part of a travel contingent representing Operation Smile, a not-for-profit, volunteer medical services organization that provides reconstructive facial surgery to indigent children in remote areas.

Although Simpson and Lachey had both been presented with the organization’s Universal Smile Award at a Los Angeles Gala, Simpson ended up traveling to Nakuru, Kenya, with hairdresser Ken Paves, friend Cacee Cobb and her manger-father, Joe Simpson.

Once in Africa, according to the official Operation Smile Web site, Simpson aided the volunteer team with the medical evaluations of more than 280 patients and gave out gifts and spread cheer to the kids as they awaited their medical procedures.

Simpson, says the trip changed her life. “On that day, everything became so clear. I was in hospitals with all these sick kids,” she says. “I just knew I needed to find something more in my life, on my own.”

Jessica Simpson is heading for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, NBC’s viewership-challenged but critically-acclaimed drama about life behind the scenes of a Saturday Night Live-type sketch show.

TV.com reports that the singer-actress is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the show during the November sweeps period, when networks pull out all the stops to attract big ratings and present those figures to advertisers.

Since its September debut, the show has lost about 30% of its audience.

JESSICA SIMPSON has taken over her own public relations duties after the media fallout surrounding her relationship with singer JOHN MAYER. Simpson’s father JOE fired her former publicist ROB SHUTER last month after she appeared on the cover of American publication People proclaiming she was in love with Mayer. Simpson decided to step in and handle her own publicity and personally called all of the tabloid magazine editors to repair her damaged relationship with the press.

Jessica said “It’s been very emotional. But I am my own publicist right now. I’ve called all the heads of the tabloids. I don’t want anyone else to speak for me now.”Simpson also said that she knows exactly who leaks information to the media when she reads the tabloid reports adding, “I know who they are, and none are my friends. “Trust me, if inside sources were my friends, the magazines would have a lot juicier info!”

Well Jessica ..what should we say…we all are just gonna sit back and watch..so let’s hope this step does lead toa fruitful result ( we are sure you will do well….when it comes to “publicity” afterall you are the undisputed queen !) so ……… ALL THE BEST !

This time a song has done it.. Not the fact that they are childhood sweethearts or even went to the same high school formula. Girl power kicked into action when Jessica got talking to Sheryl recently and said that her song was ‘Are You Strong Enough To Be My Man?’ and Sheryl said that was her song too. So now its become ‘our song’ sort of a thing between the two divas.

Simpson was quoted saying:“And she goes, ‘Honey, that’s mine too. Next time I sing it, we’ll do it together and I’ll have you come up on stage with me!’”

Now thats the alternative career that we are talking about. A duet with Sheryl and Jess by the side. What a wierd combination come to think of it. Jessica also thinks that women who wield real power need men who can bear all that and still stand tall in the face of adversity. Sure and Right Is that why Lance Armstrong and Nick Lachey walked out of the ladies’ respective lives. It could have been a viable solution though !

Apparently Jessica has all her dreams written down in various diaries which are kept under lock and key and in the possesion of her friends. Jessica revealed that sometimes she writes in pencil abou things which knows she might erase ( if she is talking of mistakes…..I’m sure her diary must be compleatly in pencil ! ) . Jessica reads up one every five months and prefers to keep her diaries with her friends as she feels they are not safe with her …….coz she is scared that people who are always snooting around her personal life might come across…….her ‘little treasure chests’!!!!!!!!

Must say …….I wonder what is written in them……interesting……..I’m sure that if some director chances upon one of them he can surely make a great movie on it……a sure shot blockbuster hit !!!

The reality show “The Newlyweds : Nick and Jessica ” apart from being touted as one of the reason behind Jessica and Nick’s seperation ……is also the main stage which pushed Jessica into the acting arena.

Jessica Simpson has claimed that the MTV Reality show “THE NEWLYWEDS” helped her prepare for her acting career. She said that though she never expected to become a movie star, she’s embracing the opportunity. Playing concerts around the globe and starring in the popular MTV reality show “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica” prepared her for the challenges of acting,

So far, she’s stuck to eye-candy roles that call for short shorts and cleavage-baring blouses. But it’s all on purpose and part of her plan, “I haven’t wanted to take a lead role yet because I do want to learn,” Simpson says, adding that she’s happy to “take in that moment of just playing a straight-laced, normal, Midwestern all-American girl.
