The casting director for “Blonde Ambition” starring Jessica Simpson is asking for local extras for the movie to show up Sunday at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.

Hopefuls who are 18 or older can show up with a 4-by-6-inch photograph of themselves from noon until 7 p.m. at the Boardwalk management offices located above the parking garage escalators.

Casting Director Brinkley A. Maginnis said she is looking for people of all races. The roles she is looking to fill are:

# Construction workers
# German speaking executive types
# Taxi cab drivers
# Office executive types, especially blacks
# Puppeteers, mimes, jugglers, clowns, midgets
# Robust female German bartender 30 or older
# Senior citizens

Not long ago, John Kerry had commented on Jessica Simpson in defense of a Democratic House candidate there.

Andy Dick is in discussions to play an “evil” secretary.

Blonde Ambition begins filming November 27 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is aiming for a summer release.
