Jessica Simpson was literally penniless when she had to pay a valet at club Hyde in Hollywood the previous night.

She was partying at the Hyde Club with her companion/hairstylist Ken Paves when the source observed,

“Simpson and her penniless gang didn’t have the cash needed to pay the valet.”

Apparently,

“one of Jess’ friends asked a bystander, actor Desmond Harrington, if he had some dinero — he didn’t.”

Finally the club’s hostess was reported to have been asked to handle the embarrassing situation, as Jessica was seen “giggling away in the backseat.”

Jessica Simpson seems to be the only person around who is not having a good time during the Christmas Holidays. She has no man in her life as of now, and her career is standing still, even though she is working on her forthcoming flick ‘Blonde Ambition’.

Her sister Ashlee tried to cheer her up offering her to accompany her on a holiday to sunny Hawaii but she opted for cold Colorado.

Some sources reveal that Jessica is still not over her depression…and the reasons for it being her dismal performance at Kennedy Center Honors and separation from husband Nick Lachey.

Even though it has been her second Christmas with Lachey… but she hasn’t gotten over him… and whats worse is that he has moved on while Simpson is still hanging in there… and her single status adds to her woes.

I hope she doesn’t end up with the wrong man… Rebounding Syndrome …you see!

The hit team of the music video based on the movie Dukes of Hazzard, Jessica Simpson and Willie Nelson are back again. Willie is said to have joined the cast of Jessica’s forthcoming flick Blonde Ambition.

The movie ‘Blonde Ambition’ is sort of a remake of the movie ‘Working Girl’ about ruthless business executives.

People are really speculating what would Nelson’s role in the movie would be…would he play one of those shrewd bosses, or Simpson’s father or just a cameo?

We’ll have to wait and watch out for that one!

Just as we were talking yesterday that Jessica Simpson hasn’t yet gotten over Nick Lachey… reports have revealed that she had suffered Agarophobia immediately after her divorce with him.

Apparently, Simpson hid away at home after her divorce with Lachey… She stopped having a normal social life…her family feared that she would become a recluse because she suffered panic attacks when they forced her to go out and socialize.

“Earlier this year, she started staying home more and more…Her problems developed for a while and got worse after her divorce from Nick…She barely left the house unless she was working. It got so bad she suffered panic attacks. It felt as if the world was closing in on her. Her blood pressure rose, she got dizzy and she actually felt as if she was suffocating,” a source close to Simpson was quoted as saying.

She might not have gotten over Nick Lachey yet but she definitely got over her Agarophobia thanks to her family and friends who stood by her. She wouldn’t have suffered from this phobia if and only if she was Paris Hilton’s friend

Jessica Simpson doesn’t seem to have gotten over former hubby Nick Lachey even after their divorce…thats why it still hurts her to see Nick with his new would-be-wife Vanessa Minnillo.

Apparently, Jessica has shopped Christmas gifts for Nick, she even has had a special blue cashmere sweater made for him as a Christmas gift. Surprisingly, she even wanted to spend this Christmas with him. Rumor mill says that Jessica had extended a hand of friendship towards Lachey.

“Jess still cares about Nick,” reveals an insider. Or may be she can’t see him getting closer to any other woman.

Her performance at the Kennedy Center Honors has been famous for all the wrong reasons. She messed up with the lyrics and broke down and ran off the stage while performing her idol Dolly Parton’s classic hit “9 to 5,”

“Dolly you make me so nervous. I can’t even sing the words right,” the singer said during the show.

Dolly Parton, showing outstanding courtliness, told People that Simpson is “so talented” and “someday they’ll be paying tribute to her.”

Apparently she re-recorded the song, but now wants that version edited out of the broadcast, which is set to air December 26, St Stephen’s Day, on CBS.

An old gag…called Joan Rivers suddenly got back from her hibernation (in case you guys forgot who she is…she used to host a silly talk show…and she looks like Michael Jackson’s sister considering she had so much plastic surgery that 98% of her isn’t even human anymore).

She hit the headlines recently for her ‘offensive and untrue’ written comments on Hollywoods two famous blonde bombshells Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson (I’m surprised how she left out Britney Spears and Pamela Anderson).

While adressing questions about where all the smart girls have gone, Rivers writes “that’s a hard question to answer in an age where Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton pass as intellectuals.”She even wrote that Jessica and Paris “go through your husbands wallets and give everything in it.”
Somebody please tell this old gag to get her facts right…or go back into hibernation coz Jessica is divorced and Paris is still single.

Don’t get scared folks…she didn’t get a boob job done…but she hasn’t ruled out the chances for one in the near future.

She said she might get under the knife to preserve her most prized assets…her boobs.

“If my boobs ended up hanging round my waist, then I’d definitely get them pulled up!”, she revealed.

However she ruled out all the chances of a nose job etc, saying that she loves her face and doesn’t feel the need to get it corrected.

“I’d never have anything done to my face. I like it the way it is,” she said.

Jessica Simpson is a true blue blonde (even her forgetfulness adds to that).

“I don`t think people would take me seriously . They take me seriously as a blonde,” she confirms.

But before you label her as a ‘Dumb’ blonde…you should know one thing,

“I think there’s a difference between ditzy and dumb. Dumb is just not knowing. Ditzy is having the courage to ask!” says Jessica simpson

So Dumb or Ditzt…Its up to you as to what you want to call her.

Justin Berfield who is currently producing Jessica Simpson’s forthcoming movie “Blonde Ambition” is very fond of Jessica Simpson and he makes it very obvious as he says that there’s nothing like working with Jessica to help ease the pain (I wonder what pain he is referring to here).

“It’s a romantic comedy about this young woman who travels up the corporate ladder in an unconventional way,” he reveals about the movie.

Though it sounds a lot like “Legally Blonde,” Berfield assures it has its own style. “It’s an idea that my company came up with. Joe Simpson heard about it and he had Jessica read it, and she fell in love with the script. The character is from the South, so her coming from the South allows her to bring her own normal flavor to it.”
